Preparing a Baby Nursery in Lux

One of the most exciting parts of preparing for a baby is preparing a baby nursery! Whether it's an area in your room or a room for the baby, it's definitely something that helps to make the whole pregnancy experience seem much more "real".The reality, however, can feel a bit like an absolute minefield! We made the mistake of just spontaneously going into a huge baby shop and just 'seeing what there is'. Personally, this was really overwhelming and we left the store feeling really intimidated at the aspect of all the decisions we would have to make before our new arrival. There are so many brands out there and so many options. My advice would be to do a bit of research on the internet first, write down some ideas, see what you need and perhaps look up some reviews from other couples who have the same lifestyle demands as yourselves. If this is your first baby, it might be wise to ask close friends and family for 2nd hand items just until you get used to your baby and what works in your home before committing to a hefty new purchase!

I've made a list of the shops we ended up visiting and finding useful. Don't forget the classics like H&M and C&A, and for all the things we couldn't find in the store, we ended up using Amazon UK or Amazon DE which offers competitive prices and you don't even need to get off the couch.
