Got a party? Need a dress?

Whether you are a going to be a wedding guest or you need an outfit for the office Christmas ,you might find yourself looking for some inspiration so we thought we would make it easier for you and give you a shortlist of our go-to shops!

$$$$ The Splurge: Tara JarmonThis x brand is often our first choice for wedding guest outfits. The shop is located in the city just off the Place d’Armes and the 2-storey shop has always offered us great service. From knee-length shift dresses to great skirt and top combinations, the style is modern classic and we love the signature bold colours.

Tip: While it is on the expensive side, their sales are pretty good so make sure you don’t miss their sale dates!

$$ The High Street Classics: Zara, Cos, H&M  and Massimo Dutti

We can’t forget the usual suspects, especially when it comes to going out clothes. We love them for their quick collection turnover and if you mix and match your accessories you can put together a unique look for a fraction of the designer prices.

$$-$$$ The Fail-safe Dress Stop: Karen Millen

This UK brand has been around for many years now and has recently become increasingly popular in Luxembourg. We’re particularly impressed by the range of clothing they have, from fitted slim-cut trousers for the office to A-line dinner date dresses, this shop covers all the classics.

$$$ High-end High Street: Kooples, Sandro, Maje and Claudie Perlot

If you’re looking for something with a slightly hefiter price tag, we really recommend these stores for an outfit that you can keep for a long time. We’ve been recycling our Summer dresses from Sandro and Maje for years, dress them up with heels or down with biker boots and trainers!

$$$ New Favourite: BA&SHWhile we’re not quite sure how this brand is pronounced, it hasn’t stopped us shopping here! From floral playsuits to backless jumpsuits, this shop has you covered for casual and smart casual occasions. The well-designed store has us browsing for ages and the service has us going back for more each time too.

$-$$ Our Favourite Online Shop: ASOS.com

With free delivery and free returns within 28 days, ASOS is the option we go to for all the basics and more. With pages and pages of swimwear, dresses and essentials like socks and underwear we’re impressed with how many times this site has saved us in a fashion emergency! Don’t forget to try out their accessories from cross-body bags, hats to sunglasses! The best thing about the delivery is that they alert you 24 hours before the delivery to let you know your one hour slot so you can make sure you don’t miss your parcel. To return, just print out the label and bring it to your nearest post office!

$$$$ Online designer brands: Net-a-Porter

Home to some of the top designer brands, pick up items straight off the runway on this site. If you’re in a hurry, pay a little extra and try their express delivery.
